Mission
Acupuncture Healing Arts (AHA) is the first and only non-profit organization in Chester County whose mission is to provide accessible and affordable acupuncture and related therapies to improve the physical, mental, and emotional health of individuals in our communities. AHA believes that everyone should have access to the healing power of acupuncture. We do all that we can make our care physically and financially accessible to all who choose to use it!
Spring is finally here and its time to get back outside to enjoy the fresh air. Sometimes getting back into the swing of things can be a real challenge. Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine can help you improve your performance and support rapid recovery from injury.
Eric Raymond Buckley, L.OM, is a certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture specialist. Sports Medicine Acupuncture (SMA) incorporates principles and techniques from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Sports Medicine. Eric studied with Matt Callison, who pioneered the use of Acupuncture for Athletic and Orthopedic care in the United States.
Eric’s Sports Medicine techniques will help to tune you up to maximize athletic performance and support rapid healing of injuries. Everyone on our team can help you be your best and we are happy to have the extra expertise and experience that Eric brings to AHA.
His current schedule is Monday and Friday from 12-6, with additional appointments possible on request.

Our office is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 52 (Bradford Avenue) and West Nields Street in West Chester.
We Offer
Fees, Services, and Insurance Billing
As acupuncture and related therapies are becoming more mainstream, more insurance policies are covering acupuncture services every day. We do not participate in insurance provider networks because that limits our legal ability to offer care on a sliding scale. We provide you with documentation to get insurance reimbursement, if you have out of network coverage for our treatments.
In some cases, with advance approval we can bill Workers’ Compensation and other insurance for your care. We cannot bill Medicare, but some supplemental plans offer out of network reimbursement.
If the cost of care is a financial hardship, we offer a sliding scale fee. To access this care, we ask you to fill out a patient intake and financial questionnaire. A practitioner will review your case and do an initial evaluation. We will create a treatment plan and discuss that with you to determine the best way to provide you with the best care possible.
Our standard fees are:
Community Acupuncture New Patient $60 follow up $50
Private clinic Treatments: New Patient Consult $65
Acupuncture Treatments: 45 minutes $90 75 minutes $130
Acupuncture with Electric Stimulation 30 minutes $100
60 minutes $140
Additional fees for related therapies are:
Manual Therapies $30 per 15 minutes
Infrared Heat $5
Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha : $30 per 15 minutes
Therapeutic Exercise: $35 per 15 minutes
Herbal Medicines costs vary.
Our community clinic setting offers acupuncture in reclining chairs. We are able to address many issues at a lower cost than in our private treatment clinics.
Scheduling
We are committed to being available when you need us. We have evening hours Tuesday and Thursday, daytime hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday and are open every other Saturday.
Online scheduling is available through our Jane App.
